SVET is a voluntary service organization started from the inspirational life of my mother (Late) Mrs. Savithry Vaidhiyanathan. The primary objective of SVET is to support underprivileged, rural students who scored high marks in their examinations but could not afford the increasing costs of higher education.SVET Foundation is a registered trust under the Trusts Act (Trust Reg. No:03/2016)
Our mission is to transform the life of under privileged students through education by encouraging their educational pursuits. SVET Foundation is an initiative to provide education to under-privileged rural students who scored good marks in exams.SVETs focus is not only in supporting students through their education but making them confident and responsible citizens.
We provide 100% financial support including student tuition fees, hostel fees, food expenses and other educational expenses. Life skill training programs, value-based education, leadership skills, other soft skills classes are provided to these students.Each student is assigned a trained mentor who will monitor and guide the student and help in attaining his or her goals.
In SVET, our main objective is to support and guide under privileged students especially from rural India and mentor them to become responsible citizens of India. We identify the needy students through a step by step process which involve the team of experts and volunteers. The procedure is simple and transparent.
