Over the past five years, the team has conducted several motivational and life skills programs through popular trainers in various colleges and schools.
SVET awards 100% Scholarship to underprivileged, rural students who cannot afford the increasing costs of higher education. To tackle the complexities of modern-day society and help students productively engage in it, SVET offers supplementary training for overall development such as personality development programs, motivational programs, life skills coaching, yoga and meditation in addition to support for career-based education.
SVET actively participated in the relief works during the last deluge happened in Chennai in 2015. SVET aims to support the community in whatever ways it is possible.
SVET aims to provide all students with the opportunity to graduate while instilling strength and values in them to become responsible citizens of the society and next generation leaders. To achieve this, SVET regularly conducts various life skill training programs like motivational programs, goal setting workshops, yoga, meditation etc. These are conducted by professionals like Prof Dr. Venkateswaran, Dr. Thamizheisai and Er. Senthil Kumar, the renowned trainer of SWEJAN Engineering Pvt. Ltd. SVET has tied up with one of the leading Yoga centers to conduct yoga and meditation classes.
Student mentorship is a unique and successful program. SVET assigns each student to a trained mentor who supports and guides them at various levels. The mentors regularly interact with the students to understand the challenges they face with academics, relationships or communications and provide focused assistance for improvement. Mentors also provide student progress reports to the SVET EC team.
We operate on strict guidelines with 100% transparency in our entire process, ensuring all our donors’ money is fully utilized for the needy cause.
We ensure our operational cost is very minimal. We operate from founder’s office premises and the regular meetings are conducted across our key members premises. We intentionally keep our operation simple and non-expensive so that that the donor’s money directly goes to the students benefit.
We share our student growth from time to time to our donors ensuring they get a sense of satisfaction that their money went to the correct hands and they have the visible proof of the student’s life transformations in front of their eyes.
